MET Manufacturing Group (Micro Etch)MET Manufacturing Group, LLC (formerly Micro Etch Technologies LLC) was founded in 1988 as Indiana Micro Etch with the sole focus of contract manufacturing through photochemical etching. In 2016, MET was purchased by brothers-in-law Cole Ridenour (President) and Derek Drews (VP, Sales and Marketing), making it family-owned. MET has grown significantly by being customer-focused, and by continually improving our infrastructure with capital investment that incorporates innovative and advanced technologies. MET is well positioned for future growth as we strive to be the industry standard for contract manufacturing.

MET specializes in precision sheet metal fabrication using photochemical etching, waterjet cutting, and other value added fabrication processes. Advantages of photochemical etching include low tooling costs, stress-free application that allows tight manufacturing tolerances, product consistency, and a fast turn-around time. Waterjet cutting offers similar benefits but can handle thicker materials and different alloys. Both production methods are set up for large volume manufacturing.

Value added fabrication services include metal forming, milling, drill/tapping, welding, and stamping. Our partner network allows MET to provide plating, powder coating, polishing, heat treating, and other finishing services. From start to finish, MET is prepared to handle all your contract manufacturing requirements.

Our customers utilize our services for components within the industries of electronics, medical, aerospace, military, electrical, telecommunications, small appliances, along with many others. MET serves market areas across the USA and internationally. For a full list of industries served, please see below.
